Danish design furniture from the 20th century

Welcome to danish-furniture.com.

This site is dedicated to the diffusion of knowledge of Danish furniture design from the twentieth century. Danish design had its great period between 1925 and 1975, hence the name Mid-century Modern. During this period, architects and manufacturers entered into a unique and very rewarding collaboration, which raised the standards, in terms of both aesthetics and functionality.

At danish-furniture.com our aim is to show a representative selection of modern Danish furniture classics. Works by Arne Jacobsen, Hans J. Wegner, Poul Kjærholm, Poul Henningsen, Kaare Klint, Verner Panton, Ole Wanscher, Børge Mogensen, Finn Juhl and many others are shown. More than a hundred and fifty different pieces are on display, complete with image and information about architect, year, manufacturer and materials.
